hiking and thanksgiving

Spent thanksgiving camping at hiking in Gila national forest with Jay Peine and Pepper.

Had a grand time.  The weather was cold, the rangers said somewhere around 3 degrees Fahrenheit the first night.

Nevertheless, the hiking and camping was fantastic and there were hot springs warm fires and good friends. More details and photos to come in the mean time, here is a photo of Jay and Pepper next to our campsite the second night.

Here in fort Defiance the weather has turned cold and it feels like winter, there’s snow on the ground and the high today isn’t supposed to get much above freezing.
